Due to the attack of Azerbaijan, the roof of the house of Edgar Salbunts, a resident of Akner village in the Syunik province, was damaged. The man says that on the night of September 12-13, he woke up from the sound of gunshots and immediately called his neighbor. “I asked, ‘Did you hear that?’ He said, ‘Yes, come to us.’ I said, ‘There is nothing.’ He said, ‘Come to us.’
We went to the neighbor’s house. It was 10 minutes. We entered the neighbor’s house, got the women settled, and the three of us were standing on the balcony- all of the neighbors. We could see where they were shooting from. We were sorry to see that. And at that moment, I saw a fire. It was the kind of fire that brought us together from the front of the house under the plot. We ran away, entered the basement at that moment, and they already struck my house.” According to Edgar Salbunts, the neighbors did not let him leave the basement. “I ran away from the neighbors, I saw that the house was really on fire, I called the EMS. Thank God, the EMS arrived early.

The fire had ignited and was extinguished. You see, the house has fresh water, we don’t sew the house, we stay outside, we stay at the neighbor’s house. The projectile fell on the roof of the house.” According to Edgar Salbunts, there is debris and glass all over the house.
“This is my home, this is my Syunik, I can’t leave here. Well, let me say something like this: I went to Yerevan, you have heard about the swallow, right? He says that he remembers the previous nest when he glues each branch. Now this is my house, I should go and build a building somewhere else, yeah?” says Edgar Salbunts.
