Issues related to the structure and functions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to be newly formed were discussed during the consultation chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The draft of the formation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was presented to the Prime Minister, amended based on the proposals of the previous discussions. The subjects of discussion were the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the structural and separate divisions of the state structures to be united in it, territorial management models, the scope of functions, the legislative field and other issues. It was noted that it is planned to complete the draft by the end of the year and then launch the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Nikol Pashinyan also emphasized the definition of professional standards in line with the structural reform and the provision of urban infrastructure, which should correspond to the content of the newly forming ministry. The Head of the Government instructed to continue the work towards the finalization of the draft.
