Today, at the head office of the Republican Party of Armenia the Chairman of the Party, Third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the European Parliament’s Standing Rapporteur on Armenia Andrey Kovatchev.
The parties discussed the current situation in the region, developments related to the resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in the context of the recent Azeri aggression, the Nagorno Karabakh issue, as well as issues related to Armenia’s domestic agenda.
At the request of the guest, Serzh Sargsyan presented the position of the RPA on these issues.
He stressed, in particular, that the recognition and observance of the right of the people of Artsakh for self-determination must be reflected in the pertinent political and legal documents.
