“We offer a concept of economic development: Armenia pursues a national, market-oriented economic model, it is enshrined in our Constitution. On that basis, our economic policy needs to be aggressive and ambitious,” Tatul Manaseryan, an expert at Ararat Alliance Institute, announced during a conference organized by Ararat Alliance Institute.
He noted regrettably, that Armenia still has not had a vision of economic development for the last 32 years.
“The Armenian economy cannot evolve spontaneously. A strategy for long-term development is needed which will have a clear vision and viewpoint. That is what Ararat Alliance does,” he said.
According to the economist, the way to economic development in Armenia is the establishment of agriculture on an industrial foundation and the recovery and development of Armenian agriculture.
