One year has passed after the meeting in trilateral format, and I think there is need to correct the clocks. The clarification of the items on the events held during the last one year, particularly, the Azerbaijani last aggression and its aftermath is on the agenda of the Armenian side. The deputy of the NA Civil Contract Sargis Khandanyan said about this during the parliamentary briefings on October 27, answering the journalist’s question with what agenda Armenia will take part in the trilateral meeting to be held in Sochi.
The MP added that the expectation of the Armenian side from the meeting will also be the analysis of the procedure of the statements made on November 9, January 11 and November of the previous year. Touching upon the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani troops from Armenia, Sargis Khandanyan noted that it is on the agenda of the Republic of Armenia on any platform.
According to the deputy Andranik Kocharyan, the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani troops is not a demand, but a necessity. “The presence of any foreign soldier on our sovereign territory will not ever be tolerated, and they should peacefully leave our territory,” the MP underscored.
“We present the demand of the Armenian side on all platforms: Our international colleagues also present that demand very targeted, and we hope that the Azerbaijani military-political leadership, eventually, will withdraw the troops to the initial positions,” the Secretary of the Civil Contract Faction Artur Hovhannisyan said.

Let us note that the representatives of the NA Civil Contract Faction honoured the memory of the October 27, 1999 crime victims with a minute of silence before beginning the parliamentary briefings.
According to Andranik Kocharyan, the fact of October 27 not being continuously disclosed does not give an opportunity to build inner solidarity in our country. “In line with this day I request the new Prosecutor General to be consistent in all the problems on disclosing October 27,” the MP said and added that very important witnesses died, but there are perspectives of reaching its disclosure.
