French Deputies: We Have Come to Armenia to be Next to Armenians in Their Difficult Period
We have come to Armenia to be next to Armenians in their difficult period: the deputies of the National Assembly of France said during the meeting with the representatives of the RA NA Armenia-France Friendship Group on October 28.
They informed that on the initiative of the Renaissance Group it is deigned to adopt a resolution in the National Assembly of France, which envisages certain sanctions against Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani aggression is condemned, a demand of returning the invaded territories and going back to the table of negotiations is presented.
The Armenian parliamentarians highlighted the adoption of the abovementioned resolution. The Head of the RA NA Armenia-France Friendship Group Vladimir Vardanyan evaluated the development of dynamic relations with France, particularly, between the legislative bodies. On behalf of the Friendship Group the deputy congratulated the newly elected deputies of the National Assembly of France. It was noted that in the near future the Friendship Group with Armenia will be formed in the French Parliament.

Issues relating to the development of the Armenian-French cooperation, the implementation of joint programmes and long-term sustainable investments were discussed. It was noted that Armenia improves the economic and competitive environment for involving new investments. In terms of economic development, the regional stability and the inviolability of borders were emphasized.
Let us note that on behalf of the Armenian side members of Armenia-France Friendship Group Artur Hovhannisyan, Babken Tunyan, Armen Khachatryan, Aghvan Vardanyan, Taron Margaryan and Armen Charchyan and on behalf of the French side the NA deputies of France Guillaume Kasbarian, Anne-Laurence Petel, Luc Lamirault, Mohamed Laquila and Sarah Tanzilli took part in the meeting.
