On November 3, the Human Rights Defender Ms. Kristinne Grigoryan held a meeting with the representatives of the World Bank’s team implementing the third and fourth projects of modernization of the public sector in Armenia (PSMP 3 and PSMP 4).
The Defender expressed her gratitude for the meeting. She presented the functions of the HRD Office and noted the institution has a high level of public trust.
Grigoryan highlighted the need for social, political, and economic empowerment of women and provided information on the upcoming programs. The Defender presented the work being done on the prevention of cases of gender-based violence and violence in the family.
The parties discussed options for supporting the institutional development of the Defender’s office, in particular, issues related to the digitalization, modernization and data security of the operational systems used by the HRD Office and agreed on upcoming steps.
