On November 3, the third meeting of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held in Brussels, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev.
Prior to the start of the meeting, the Secretary-General of the European External Action Service Stefano Sannino welcomed the delegations of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, wished success to the work of the commissions, and reiterated the readiness of the European Union to further assist in the normalisation of relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In welcoming remarks, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev expressed gratitude to the EU Council for the good organisation of the meeting.
Taking into account the agreements reached in different formats at the level of the leaders of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the sides continued the discussion of border delimitation issues and touched upon the organisational and procedural issues.

In order to define the legal framework for the joint activity of the commissions, the sides agreed to accelerate the coordination of the procedure for the joint work of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security Issues of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.
The sides agreed to set the date and the venue of the fourth meeting of the commissions in working order.
