Arman Yeghoyan Meets with Chairman of the Polish Senate Committee on Foreign and European Affairs
The format of the inter-parliamentary cooperation has an important place on the agenda of the Armenian-Polish relations: Armenia pays great importance to their development as an important component of the inter-state relations. The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan said about this during the meeting with the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Former Minister of Defence Bogdan Klich held on November 8.
Arman Yeghoyan thanked Bogdan Klich for visiting Armenia especially in such difficult times.

To his assessment, the visit of the Armenia-Poland Friendship Group was rather fruitful a month ago. Due to joint efforts the agenda of the relations has become more comprehensive, including different spheres of cooperation. Underlining that Poland has an important role in the European Union, in the Council of Europe, Arman Yeghoyan noted that Armenia needs support from the European platforms.
“Poland was one of the first countries that ratified the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), for which we are grateful,” the Committee Chair said. He presented the situation in Armenia and in Artsakh, touched upon the problem of the immediate and unreserved repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians being held in Azerbaijan, as well as raised the issue of the necessity of humanitarian aid. The MP considered unacceptable the Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Bogdan Klich thanked Arman Yeghoyan for warm reception. According to him, Armenia has an important role in the region. The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of the Senate of the Republic of Poland expressed readiness of continuing the effective cooperation.
The regional challenges and the ways of facing them were also referred to.
