On November 9, within the framework of the working visit to the Republic of Lithuania, the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, met with Kestutis Budrys, the chief National Security Adviser to the President of Lithuania, Galina Vascenkaite, the advisor to the Prime Minister of Lithuania on Eastern Neighborhood and Democracy Promotion, and Mantas Adomenas, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
The interlocutors discussed the existing security challenges in the South Caucasus and around Armenia as well as exchanged ideas on several issues of international and regional agenda of mutual interest. Secretary Grigoryan presented to the interlocutors the security challenges created around the Republic of Armenia and the views and positions of Armenia in the direction of their solution.
During the meeting, the interlocutors touched on several issues related to the Armenian-Lithuanian bilateral agenda and exchanged ideas on the prospects for developing bilateral relations. They emphasized with satisfaction the high level of Armenia-Lithuania political dialogue, which has become more active recently.
