Eight journalists, media experts and content creators presented at the “Nurturing Trust։ Stories of Media and Information Literacy” event organized by EU Delegation to Armenia on November 10. The event was part of the Media Literacy Week in Armenia, which follows UNESCO’s annual Global Media and Information Literacy Week.
Illustrated cases on disinformation, personal stories of those affected by fake news, as well as practical tools for fact-checking and media literacy, were presented. Nearly 80 students of journalism, communication, political science, as well as educators and members of youth CSOs attended the event.
