US updates its sanctions list for Russia: Milur Electronics LLC, an Armenian company listed

News.am. The U.S. has placed 28 more entities and 14 individuals on its Russia-linked sanctions list, the U.S. Treasury Department said. 

The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), together with the U.S. State Department, has imposed sanctions on a transnational network that purchases technology that supports the Russian military-industrial complex, the report said.

Among others, the Armenian company Milur Electronics LLC and its affiliated Swiss citizen Jacques Pachet, Estonian and Swiss citizen Holger Leng and Russian citizen Mikhail Pavlyuk, Taiwanese Sharp Edge Engineering Inc. (Sharp Edge), Swiss company Alstone Investment AG, as well as relatives of member of the Federation Council Suleiman Kerimov, in particular, his nephew Nariman Gejiyev and his affiliated company Constellation Advisors Ltd.

Eight aircraft operated by Emperor Aviation also fell under sanctions.

The ministry noted that the U.S. will continue to target Russia’s efforts to replenish its armaments, including any foreign individuals who assist Russia in doing so.
