The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili received the delegation led by the RA NA President Alen Simonyan being in Georgia on an official visit. The sides congratulated each other on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, stressing that the common history connects the two peoples.
The RA NA President has noted that Armenia is greatly interested in the strengthening of the regional security and stability, thus he highly appreciates the interest of Georgia aimed at preservation of peace and stability in the region.
Alen Simonyan also underscored that Azerbaijan, continuing its expansionist policy, launched a large-scale offensive against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
Touching upon the Artsakh issue, the RA NA President mentioned that the issue of guaranteeing the rights and freedoms of the Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh and the Nagorno Karabakh status remains as a priority.
