KCCA under the auspices of the Embassy of Armenia in the United Kingdom has taken the opportunity to organise a lecture, concert and exhibition dedicated to composer Lazar Saryan and painter Martiros Sarian to represent their immortal Armenian art in the UK.
Event took place in Gulbenkyan Hall and St.Sarkis Church in London on Saturday, 19th November 2022.
English lecture was delivered by Sophie Sarian – art historian and critic, chief curator of Martiros Sarian House-Museum in Yerevan as well as daughter of the composer L.Saryan and granddaughter of the painter M.Saryan.

The event organiser was conductor, tenor, pianist Sipan Olah.
There were speaches by Armenian Ambassador Varuzhan Nersesyan, Bishop Hovakim Manukyan, Father Shnork Bagdassarian.
30 members of the Klingen Choir and 6 soloists Sipan Olah-tenor, Maria Palazian-piano, Polina Sharafyan-violin, Hagop Jack Mouradian-oboe, Hasmik Harutyunyan-soprano, Narine Malkhasyan-soprano perform masterpieces by the above-mentioned composer and painting replicas by legendary artist Martiros Saryan were exhibited during the lecture.
The above mentioned pieces and an exhibition by the legendary Saryans were presented in the UK for the 2nd time.
