At the initiative of the Turkish side, the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, held telephone talks with the Minister of National Defence of the Republic of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, said .
Within the talks the current situation in northern Syria was discussed, as well as selected issues related to the continuation of the Black Sea Initiative.
