“A responsibility measure will be established if the implementation of control functions of the inspection body exercising control in the field of transport is obstructed or not allowed, as well as if the requirements of the administrative acts and decrees issued by the officials of that body within a fixed period are not fulfilled or they are improperly fulfilled,” the Acting Head of the Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the Office of the RA Prime Minister Armen Danielyan noted. The draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Code on Administrative Offenses authored by the Government was debated in the second reading at the sitting of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on November 30.
At the suggestion of the Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Babken Tunyan, statistics related to offences were presented. Armen Danielyan emphasized that the proposed amendment will have a deterrent effect.
The Government submitted technical and editorial proposals during the period between the first and second readings.
The revised draft was endorsed.
