Plane crashed in Armenia

On December 1, at 14:20 information was received to Crisis Management National Center that B55 aircraft had crashed in Jraber province of Kotayk province and caught on fire.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department, three rescue groups from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of Rescue Forces Department, the group on duty from Medical Care Provision Department, the operative group from Crisis Management National Center and the group on duty from Psychological Assistance Division of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that B55 aircraft (flying from Yerevan to Astrakhan) crashed near sand mine in Jraber village and caught on fire.

2 burnt dead bodies of the pilots (A. P. born in 1979 and V. R. born in 1983, citizens of RF) were found on the scene.

The fire was extinguished at 14:41.
