“Yes, we have allies and friends, but all of them can fulfill their obligations and responsibilities if we do it. If we don’t do it, why should someone else come and solve our problems? To what extent do they unite with us and be friends? They can’t do everything for us, instead of governing, the third president of RA, Serzh Sargsyan, during the protest demonstration supporting Artsakh Armenians and protesting the closure of the Berdzor Corridor by Azerbaijan, mentioned the role of Russia, RA’s ally, in this situation.
Serzh Sargsyan mentioned how he sees the resolution of the situation. “If we are talking about the rulers of RA, then they cannot decide the fate of Artsakh. They cannot decide what will happen. It is obvious that they washed their hands and refused to protect the natural rights of these people. How is it solved? How was it resolved 30 years ago? We will come to it; we will achieve it.”

Serzh Sargsyan found it challenging to say whether the situation would escalate into a war. “Because we are witnesses of such a situation when decisions are made based on the day’s issue. I don’t see a desire to look a few steps ahead, so it will be difficult for me to answer,” he said. According to Serzh Sargsyan, the solution to the problem is to resist and fight. “What other possibility should there be?” Two years have passed since the war; couldn’t the army be restored a little? They do everything the opposite.”
To the question: are the Russian peacekeepers guilty, he answered: “Can the government show what are the duties and obligations of peacekeepers?” Have you seen what he wrote anywhere? There is no need to blame one’s problems on someone else. 3-4 years ago, the culprits were the former, now, it is difficult to blame them, and they blame the Russians. Yes, we all have high expectations from Russia, but any expectations can be spoiled, and they were. How can you mock the highest official of your ally?’- Sargsyan told reporters.
