The Supreme Judicial Council nominated the candidacies of Liza Grigoryan, Lilit Khachatryan and Arman Kurekhyan for the vacancy of the judge of the judicial composition of the examination of the civil cases of the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the Court of Cassation.
The President of the Supreme Judicial Council Karen Andreasyan presented the candidates’ biographical data, stressed their professional characteristics.
“The public needs a judicial system based on justice,” the candidate Liza Grigoryan said in her speech.
According to her, the aim of the legislative, executive and judicial powers shall be the rendering of the qualified services to the people. The candidate emphasized the necessity of the same kind of enforcement of the law during the trial.

In her speech the next candidate Lilit Khachatryan underlined the necessity of the specialized courts. “The Anti-Corruption Court should investigate the cases in the whole depth, as it deals with the citizen’s property,” Lilit Khachatryan noted.
In his speech Arman Kurekhyan highlighted the role and importance of the Anti-Corruption courts in the judicial system of our country. According to the candidate, it is necessary to raise the efficiency of the fight against corruption Arman Kurekhyan also underscored the same kind of use of the enforcement of the laws during the judicial examination of the cases.
During the exchange of the ideas, the deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Vigen Khachatryan touched upon the judicial system, the corruption phenomena, their origin and the necessity of the fight against them.
According to him, today the coordinated corruption is eliminated, but the fight against the corruption phenomena shall be effective and continuous. “Our goal is not punishing, but reaching the corruption phenomena to minimum,” Vigen Khachatryan said.
