“We have said that we are ready to dialogue, but not in the mode of gradual concessions to everything that we agreed not to touch. Unfortunately, Azerbaijan refuses. There has been no conversation to provide a political solution to the issue.” Artsakh State Minister Ruben Vardanyan said at the discussion organized by the Artsakh Public Television on the occasion of the one-month blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan, responding to the question of one of the international media whether they are ready to dialogue with Azerbaijan.
“We are fighting to live on our land, to have a life with our laws. It means a rather tough positioning, and it differs from the position of RA from the position of the RA government. In this sense, we also raised it at the Security Council of Artsakh session,” Ruben Vardanyan emphasized. He insisted they could have a dialogue with Azerbaijan, but political, not technical, in which Azerbaijan wants to advance its decisions.
