“The most important thing is that our people and the government work together in this crisis. Unity is based on understanding the gravity of the situation. There are serious problems with fuel and gasoline. Daily life has become much worse. We have problems; the state of the economy has completely changed because there is no possibility of supplies or mines.
We have a problem with securing people’s jobs. The situation is challenging,” said Ruben Vardanyan, Minister of State of the Republic of Artsakh, during an online discussion organized by the Artsakh public television company on the occasion of the one-month blockade of Artsakh by Azerbaijan.
“It should be understood that the Russian peacekeepers and the Red Cross brought in several vehicles, but we have minimal help. It is a deeper struggle for our identity and independence. It is a question of having or not having a future on our land. At the same time, I see a lot of will in people. When the president of Azerbaijan says that whoever does not want to live, let him leave, it reveals that the road is closed and the goal is ethnic cleansing,” Ruben Vardanyan emphasized.
