According to Aravot.am, the number of solid soldiers who received burns from the fire of the military unit located in the Azat settlement of Gegharkunik Province at night is more than presented in official data. In particular, according to “Aravot” information, a soldier named Zhirayr is currently in the Gegharkunik garrison hospital.
According to our information, only four people were lucky enough to receive relatively light burns in the troop that caught fire, 15 died, and three are in intensive care units with severe burns. The lives of 4 service members who received relatively light burns are not in danger, but they are also currently receiving treatment in different medical centers in Yerevan.
Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense Aram Torosyan told Aravot.am that the Ministry of Defense reconfirms the message that 15 servicemen died as a result of the fire, and 3 were injured.
