We learned from the Facebook page of Vruyr Ayvazyan, a member of the “Country to live” party, that Rostom Asryan, a resident of the Hobardzi community of Lori region, was also killed as a result of an unfortunate incident that took place on the night of January 19. Ayvazyan wrote that he met Rostom in 2022 when he met a soldier walking along the road to Kurtan village.
He stopped and took the boy with him. “I owe you; where should I take you?”
The soldier was surprised and answered: “Hobardzi.” We talked a few words about service and other things. The soldier was Rostom. Before getting off, I asked: what can I do for you? Rostom said without thinking, “I don’t need anything. In the army, we need tires for the posts, some few cars, if you can send them.”
“I will” was my answer.
We exchanged contacts, and Rostom dropped by their house. In cooperation with Rostom’s father, we sent several cars with tires to the place Rostom directed. I paid my debt, dear Rostom, but we still owe you as a nation. We owe you a life…” wrote Vruyr Ayvazyan.
