Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri, in a conversation with journalists in Syunik on January 20, once again mentioned the security of Armenia is the security of Iran.
According to the ambassador, Iran pursues a policy with all its neighboring countries, aiming to develop cooperation in all directions. “Armenia is our neighbor and friendly country. There is the same policy towards Armenia as well. Iran’s Foreign Minister also said that Armenia’s security is Iran’s security. Iran’s position has always been that the independence and territorial integrity of countries, including Armenia, should be respected, as well as all countries, by international laws,” Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri said in particular.
The ambassador visited Syunik to discuss the details of the third Armenia-Iran power transmission line construction in the Noravan settlement with Minister of Territorial Administration Gnel Sanosyan, Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan, and other officials.
