“You are not the President; I am the President.” The PACE President silenced Samad Seyidov, who had not reached his turn to speak and was “frightening” to the Assembly

“You are not the President, I am the President,” in response to the dissatisfaction of Samad Seyidov, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE, that he, as the head of the Azerbaijani delegation, did not get to speak, it shows that this Assembly is biased, the PACE Plenary PACE President Tiny Kox announced on January 26 during the discussion on Lachin issue during the session.

Due to running out of time, Tiny Kox, the President of the Assembly, said that the debate was over, so it was not Samad Seyidov’s turn to speak.

He complained in the PACE plenary meeting hall, “I didn’t get my turn, so you have a biased approach. Tiny Kox said that was the order. Meanwhile, Samad Seyidov countered: “Now I see how biased you are; if you were not able to give the head of the Azerbaijani delegation the right to speak during this critical discussion, this is a biased approach. If the Armenians could present their speech, but I, as the head of the delegation, could not, then this is a biased attitude.”

The PACE President was upset and said: “Next time, I will not tolerate your order violation. You are an experienced Assembly member, and you know this should not be done.”
