Tatevik Hayrapetyan, a former member of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, an Azeri expert, posted on her Telegram channel: “Azerbaijani MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev stated that the internal troops of Azerbaijan should immediately enter Stepanakert. He said this in response to the material about “joint Armenian-Iranian operations” invented by their propaganda.
As I predicted, Azerbaijan will extend beyond one or two steps. What Hasanguliyev said proves the terrorist nature of Azerbaijan and clearly shows the purpose of closing the Lachin Corridor. Our diplomats should actively use these words. Azerbaijan provides us with evidence daily that they have adopted a policy of ethnic cleansing.
Regarding the tension with Iran, let me remind you that once Iran “congratulated Azerbaijan on the war,” Azerbaijan’s behavior towards Iran seems unreasonable. But as the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia mentioned yesterday, it all started with the entry of Israel into the region. Some forces have incredibly excited Azerbaijan, and the latter has begun to overestimate its strength and capabilities.
