Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of the Prime Minister’s Staff, chairman of the committee for organizing and holding the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games chaired the first expanded-format session of the committee.
Issues related to the organizational work of the 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games were discussed.
Arayik Harutyunyan noted that holding the first session in an expanded-format is important in terms of addressing all possible issues and problems, solving them in time, carrying out organizational work effectively and, as a result, holding the Pan-Armenian Games at a proper level.
At the beginning of the session, the chairman of the World Committee of Pan-Armenian Games 13presented the timetable of the games and upcoming plans.

Arayik Harutyunyan highlighted the interconnected work between the departments and in that sense emphasized the need to implement the works according to the schedule set by each structure.
The 8th Pan-Armenian Summer Games are planned to be held in August this year. The opening ceremony will take place in Gyumri, the closing ceremony in Yerevan. There will be 107 sets of medals for 17 sports.
