“The crisis of gas supply and electricity continues in Artsakh. There are quite big problems with food, necessities, and medicine. Planned operations have been delayed for a long time, and even the transportation of patients from Artsakh through the “Red Cross” is insufficient to stabilize the health situation. The situation in Artsakh is difficult today. Although it seems to many that people are adapting to the current situation, I can say this is not the case. Our compatriots in Artsakh are going through a difficult period and, unfortunately, they are alone today,” Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the “With Honor” (“Pativ Unem”) faction, said during a briefing in the National Assembly.
Referring to the transfer of humanitarian cargo by Armenia to Turkey, Abrahamyan said that the authorities are trying to place the transfer of humanitarian cargo and troops in the context of Armenian-Turkish relations. “There is a “perebor” -overkill because, especially after the 44-day war, under the following Azerbaijani attacks, this attitude towards Turkey naturally does not fit into the logic. I would understand the RA authorities, which would convey condolences in a dry text, but the RA authorities at the highest level even express support to Turkey; they transfer the burden several times. Almost the same number of rescuers are involved in Syria- our permanent friend country and Turkey. Turkey’s policy towards Armenia and Armenia’s steps in this situation is not adequate.”
