The former vice-chairman of the National Assembly, and the former mayor of Yerevan, Albert Bazeyan, promised that in the spring, they would raise the people and see off these authorities. Bazeyan, the Democratic Party of Armenia, “Azatutyun,”-Liberty” and other parties and NGOs announced the new movement. According to him, the political forces managed by Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan were part of the government: ARF, PAP, and OEK “Rule of Law, and if they led well, developed the army, established legitimacy in the country, someone like Nikol Pashinyan could not have come to power. According to him, the public chose Nikol Pashinyan even after the defeat in the war; they had to choose between the bad and the worst, and they chose the worst. “No matter how much they tried to wake up the people, “Wake up, Lao, let me die,” Lao did not wake up because the people did not accept the former. This movement aims to form a pan-Armenian alliance.
There are more than 100 parties in the republic; there is no logic in founding a new party; we should try to unite all political forces in one alliance; we suggest NGOs, cultural associations, individuals, economists, politicians, journalists, and human rights defenders connect there.
Regardless of where Armenians live, in Armenia or the Diaspora, they should be united in a single alliance. If the public saw that there was a force that could take power and take responsibility for solving the country’s problems, it would stand up. We will reach extraordinary parliamentary elections. According to the RA Constitution, special parliamentary elections will be held in the spring. The Pan-Armenian United Alliance will win the elections and take responsibility for getting the country out of this situation. There are agenda items: opening the Berdzor corridor and foreign policy issues. We have software foundations. During the movement, one will stand out; whom our society will consider the next head of state.”
