“We are talking not only about the decision of the UN Court but also the ECHR. We already have a combination of judicial acts and political statements. I think that Azerbaijan does not have enough resources not to implement the decision of the International Court for a long time,” said Siranush Sahakyan, Head of the Center for International and Comparative Law, within the framework of the scientific-practical conference entitled “The Imperative of International Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh,” referring to the interim decision of the International Court of Justice regarding the Lachin Corridor.
“Azerbaijan will try to delay the execution of the acts and strengthen the political pressure on the RA government to organize the signing of documents favorable to it. I think these acts will eventually be implemented under the pressure of international structures,” Siranush Sahakyan expressed conviction.
