“The issues related to Artsakh are not on the foreign policy agenda of this government, and this will complicate any process of international recognition of Artsakh. RA has no such desire,” political scientist Suren Sargsyan said within the framework of the scientific-practical conference entitled “The Imperative of International Recognition of the Republic of Artsakh.”

According to him, achieving international recognition of Artsakh can and is possible to start. “The USA is the most striking example, where the representation of Artsakh is officially registered. There are new opportunities. A dozen states of the USA have the fact of recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh. In addition, a process can be started in the House of Representatives of the US Congress. We have a large number of pro-Armenian congressmen.”
