In Artsakh, a few dozen citizens recently protested at the entrance to the location of the peacekeeping troops of the Russian Federation. Their exit was blocked for several hours. The citizens of Artsakh demanded that the peacekeeping forces ensure the peaceful and safe life of the residents of Artsakh Armenians. “We need real peacekeepers,” “all our rights are violated,” “is there peace where you are?” Such banners were found in Russian.
“This is how we want to show that we are not indifferent to the loss of our fellow citizens. It could have been us instead of each of them. Russian peacekeepers must fulfill all points of the tripartite declaration of November 9. If they can’t, there are other international peacekeeping forces,” said one of the citizens. On March 5, due to the offensive and sabotage activities of Azerbaijan, three members of the Armenian police were killed and one injured on the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan.
