The RA NA President Alen Simonyan had a number of meetings with the heads of parliaments of different countries within the framework of the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union dedicated to peace and security in Bahrain. During partnership meetings and official dinners, the RA NA President presented to the heads of parliaments the situation following the 44-day war, specifying the cases of anti-Armenian campaign being implemented by Azerbaijan and invading the sovereign territory of Armenia.
Issues on the blockade of the Armenians of Nagorno Karabakh and the unsolved humanitarian problems were discussed with the President of the Senate of Belgium Stephanie D’Hose.
The Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary László Kövér inquired about the consequences of the crisis of Lachin Corridor of life. The results of voicing the problem in different international platforms were also discussed.
The NA President also met with the Head of Parliament of Egypt.
