On March 17, the 36th Meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation was held in Tsaghkadzor.
After the meeting the members of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission led by the RA NA Vice President, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Armenian-Russian Cooperation Hakob Arshakyan and the Deputy Speaker of the RF FA Federation Council, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission Yury Vorobyov took part in the opening of the Russian Centre in the Children’s Art School of Tsaghkadzor.
The Centre was opened by Yury Vorobyov’s support. This is the 9th branch opened in Armenia. In the centres the schoolchildren and the young people are educated with extra-curricular programme, there is also library fund.

Yury Vorobyov handed over the souvenir, given by the Speaker of the RF FA Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, also a book concerning his activities to the Centre.
The attendees underlined that in the sphere of the Armenian-Russian humanitarian cooperation such centres serve as one more bridge in expanding the bilateral educational-cultural ties.
