“The government of Armenia has turned the country into a theater of geopolitical conflict. Saying “yes” to both platforms has led to a situation where Armenia is “shared” between those two platforms: Moscow and Washington. By saying “yes” to those two platforms, you become a geopolitical coin,” said Andranik Tevanyan, deputy of the NA “Armenia” faction, referring to the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that the West intends to drive a wedge Russia and Armenia. According to him, the government already knows what it will bring to the people, but first, it wants to blame Russia.
“One cannot enter the anti-Russian or anti-Western field. The West is not our enemy, but it has a problem with Russia, and the government of Armenia agreed to become a tool to remove Russia from this region. Therefore, the security of Armenia is facing a great threat. The government has brought a situation where it is now trying to beg for peace and security from different geopolitical centers.”
