“I have an awful opinion about this case, and the judicial process will show that this is the result of an animal’s imagination,” former police chief of Armenia Vladimir Gasparyan told reporters after the regular court session held at the anti-corruption court. Why did he provide a driver for the brother of former President Serzh Sargsyan? For example, as stated in the case files, Vladimir Gasparyan answered: “The police did not issue the orders in the military police at that time but by the ministry.”
Vladimir Gasparyan emphasized that he has nothing to complain about the prosecutor’s office, investigative bodies, and the court. “I’m saying it clearly. I will have to use modern vocabulary. I don’t want to, but I see that society… I don’t want to advertise that phenomenon, but society listens to a person with ugly, dirty, and insolent words. They even call it “sir.”
Even now, legends tell that I used to go in and out with Vazgen Sargsyan. It is absurd, stupidity. According to Vladimir Gasparyan, this case against him was initiated on the instruction of one person. “The poor investigators had to write it. Let me tell you what the investigators explained to me: They said, “I’m sorry, dear General, they will enter our families.”
