About the government’s decision to replace the army with NSS border guard troops, former RA Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan says. “We have a 1400 km borderline with Azerbaijan. If we put 20 soldiers per kilometer, we need 40 thousand soldiers. In other words, when we give the army to the National Security Service, an army should not be left. The country is small; the border is long and indented. Why is he doing this? Why the NSS? First, the NSS has 20 times less staff than the army.”
Hrant Bagratyan noticed the other day that Nikol Pashinyan has a problem because Aliyev tells him not to use force against him when his army comes forward. When Nikol Pashinyan ordered the withdrawal of Armenian troops, some did not retreat, and the National Security Service retreated. “Here we are dealing with pure treason.”
According to the speaker, unlike Azerbaijan, the Russian border guards, no matter how satisfied or dissatisfied we are with them, do not want to check the goods entering and leaving Artsakh, saying that in that case, there is no corridor. “And Armenia, it turns out, is in favor of having an Azerbaijani checkpoint there, but since the Russians don’t let it go, they say: Azerbaijan, come and occupy the lands of Kornidzor, and there is an Azerbaijani checkpoint there today. From going to Artsakh to reach the Russians, we pass through another Azerbaijani base. Understand what is happening; if we do not understand this much today, we consider ourselves donkeys. The betrayal will continue.”

The former Prime Minister of Armenia detailed that there was no border dispute in Kornidzor; the Armenia-Azerbaijani border was a valley, while the Azerbaijanis advanced in our territory. We lost more than 100 square kilometers locally. Thus, during Pashinyan’s rule, we handed over 10.5 thousand square kilometers in Artsakh, 1200 square kilometers from the territory of Armenia. He considers it remarkable that during the incident in Tegh village, the CSTO expressed readiness to help Armenia. There was no response from Armenia, and it did not express any observation regarding any Western country’s invasion of the sovereign territory of Armenia. “Why: I’m sure all Western ambassadors have been told that this is being done so that Aliyev can set up his dream checkpoint, and everyone agrees. And the Tegh-Kornidzor action is also against the Russians.”
Hrant Bagratyan promises that as soon as the power changes, there will be peace and no war because Aliyev will know that guys are standing in front of him who will give his answer.
Aram Sargsyan, a member of the coordinating council of the alternative socio-political movement “Together,” the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Armenia, confirmed to Hrant Bagratyan in his speech that the government that will come to Armenia later must regulate relations with friendly and allied states, which will prevent war. He agrees: Nikol Pashinyan’s government has completely lost its legitimacy.
