No state body can exert any pressure on us; it does not mean there are no attempts. Chairman of National Commission on TV and Radio

According to the world press freedom index, Armenia ranks 51st among 180 countries; in 2022 has improved its position compared to 2021, said Tigran Hakobyan, the Chairman of National Commission on TV and Radio, who presented these data at the session of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth, and Sports.

“This is the assessment of internal political and external media specialists. I have to repeat an idea that the representatives of society, political forces, and media always question. We operate independently. No state body exerts any pressure on us and cannot exert any pressure on us. It does not mean there are no attempts.
