Recently, we met the members of the delegation led by Björn Söder, Head of the Sweden-Armenia Friendship Group, in the Parliament.
I presented the situation in besieged Artsakh to my colleagues. I emphasized the need to send international observers to Artsakh in order
to record how Azerbaijanis violate the life and other fundamental rights of the civilian population of Artsakh every day.
During the discussion, I raised the alarm that Azerbaijan is pursuing the criminal goal of depopulation of Artsakh, and in the conditions of the 115-day blockade, the Armenians of Artsakh are fighting to survive.
I emphasized the urgent need to realize the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh, expecting Sweden’s support in this matter.
