“According to my information, about 400 hectares in Tegh village have positioned themselves within our sovereign border. Every day we witness the encroachment of our sovereign territory. The problem is that the Azerbaijanis came, invaded, and did not receive any serious attention,” MP Garnik Danielyan of the “Armenia” faction told reporters.
He mentioned that the authorities should answer that question: where were our soldiers, and why did they not resist? We are still waiting to hear an articulate explanation from the authorities. “All the guilty must answer. We do not have unlimited spaces. People face problems every day. What does it mean to say one thing in the morning, another in the afternoon, and the evening, they completely deny what they said?”
Garnik Danielyan said he had visited many border places in Kornidzor and raised questions. “The authorities are showing inadequate behavior. When the opposition discusses problems, they take it to a different field. The borders are open. In my speech a few weeks ago, I said I witnessed Kornidzor; I might have been captured by the Azerbaijanis because there is no border. I went to that village for meetings; I saw Azerbaijanis by chance, a few 100 meters away. Our villagers said, “Don’t go forward suddenly because you might get captured.”
