On March 30, the National Security Service announced that Azerbaijani forces were deployed at least 5 points in the Tegh village section, 100 to 300 meters from the border. If they “crossed the border,” it should be assumed that they invaded the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. Then, in another statement, the NSS said that the situation in that section “has improved significantly as a result of border adjustment works.”
At the government meeting on April 6, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan repeated that formulation, noting some “improvement” in the situation. On Sunday, the Prime Minister visited the Vayots Dzor Region, got acquainted with the life of the workers, and gave instructions. Yesterday, the Azerbaijanis approached from their “improved” positions and opened fire in the direction of our servicemen; there are victims and wounded. Yesterday, the enemy also fired in the direction of Vardenis from “improved” positions in precisely the same way.
Therefore, no “improvement” or “adjustment of borders” occurs. Over 2.5 years, the enemy has occupied several tens of square kilometers of the sovereign territory of Armenia, has positioned itself there, and regularly opens fire from those positions, resulting in Armenian citizens being killed. This is a reality, the fault of which is neither the “formers” nor the “5th column”, nor the Russians, nor the “11 thousand deserters “. The only reason for this is that the government of Armenia does not fulfill its constitutional duties and does not ensure the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security of our country’s citizens.
Residents of the Tegh and other bordering villages see this reality with their own eyes. However, this will not prevent them from unanimously voting for Civil Contact in the next elections, as they did in the parliamentary elections in 2021. They may already be living in other villages.

If the head of the state says that he will not wage war for this lake or that mountain in the territory of the country under his responsibility, after that, in my opinion, he cannot hold his office for a second. Because it is a direct signal to the enemy to capture new lakes and mountains (which it does), yes, theoretically, escalation should not be allowed, and everything should be done to establish peace. In practice, the Armenian government is doing everything to have a new escalation and victims.
Peace cannot be established only by negotiations or by signing some documents. The centuries-old history of us and all other peoples shows that peace can be achieved only with clear actions of the army. But which army? The army, which, according to CC members, did not exist until 2018?
