On April 12, Parliament continued the work of regular sittings.
The NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan stated that the previous day, near the village of Tegh in the RA Syunik region, the representatives of the Azerbaijani armed forces approached the representatives of the Armenian Armed Forces performing engineering works under the pretext of adjusting the location, provoked them and opened fire to the representatives and positions of the Armenian Armed Forces with weapons of different calibers.
The RA Armed Forces took the necessary measures to defend the RA sovereign territory, fought sacrificing themselves, causing considerable damage to the enemy. The Azerbaijani side has many casualties and wounded.

“Unfortunately, the Armenian side also has casualties and wounded. 4 servicemen were killed and 6 were wounded,” the NA Vice President said.
The deputies honored the memory of the fallen servicemen with a minute’s silence and wished the wounded speedy recovery.
The NA Secretary of the Armenia Faction Artsvik Minasyan proposed to invite the representatives of the RA Armed Forces to the National Assembly to discuss the situation with the deputies.
The NA Vice President Ruben Rubinyan accepted the proposal, the format of the discussion will be decided.
