New attestation system to be in force by initiative for employees of higher, chief, senior, average and junior groups of Rescue Service

It is proposed by the initiative of the Government to introduce a new attestation system for the rescue employees. It will be in force for the employees of the higher, chief, senior, average and junior groups of the Rescue Service.

An exception was designed only for the Service Director, his/her deputies and the persons holding position of the Rescue Service in the educational institution. At April 12 sitting, the RA Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan voiced about this, presenting for debate in the first reading the amendments to the laws on Rescue Service and on Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions.

The attestation process will launch from May 2023. The employees of the system will have an opportunity for training from January 1, 2024, taking into consideration the workload of the Crisis Management State Academy.

According to the rapporteur, by the attestation results, surcharge will be counted for the rescue employees.

Armen Khachatryan raised the issue of complementing the vacancies of the Rescue Service, considering necessary the use of the simplified mechanisms of the employment in the system. “By this moment, the Rescue Service is one of the most important services in our country,” the deputy underscored.

Arpine Sargsyan mentioned that the executive body tries to find institutional solutions on the issue.

The member of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Vahagn Aleksanyan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee. He urged his colleagues to vote for the package.
