On April 12, a murder took place in Kapan. According to Aravot.am information, Hayrapet Meliksetyan, the custodian of the Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine, was killed while working on the pipeline leading to the tailings in Shgharshik. Shgharshik is one of the districts of Kapan. He was killed with a firearm; the reasons and circumstances are unknown. That part of Shgharshik is one of the many guard posts of the combine, and there was no valuable property at the scene. ZCMC confirmed our information, adding that investigative operations are underway.
