Aravot.am has already informed that search operations were carried out throughout the night, in which Syunik Region Governor Robert Ghukasyan, employees of Kapan Forestry, and the “Zangezur” Biosphere Complex participated.

“It was almost sunrise. I got a phone call; they said there was an alarm at the workplace, come soon. The Director, Sasun Manukyan, said there is no need to panic; we have to guard the forest roads and added that the Azerbaijani was somewhere nearby.” said Ara Sukiasyan in a conversation with Aravot.am.

According to him, Syunik Marz Governor Robert Ghukasyan saw the director Sasun Manukyan early in the morning in Verin Khotanan village. The Governor allocates to all of them according to positions in different sections of forest roads and paths. Ara Sukiasyan was supposed to go to the dentist, and after asking for permission, during break time, he went down to Kapa with his wife in his car.

“I came to the road; I saw a person passing by; I asked my wife if the man could be that Azerbaijani; my wife said he could be; who knows who he will be?” I slowed down the car, saw no movement, and decided to turn around,” says the forest ranger of Kanpan. Then he notices two more cars standing. “I approached them and said, I think he is the Azerbaijani; we must catch him.

To the question: How can you know? I answered that I had his picture on my phone, I opened it, we were convinced and immediately tied his hands with a string,” tells Ara Sukiasyan. The forester asked the stranger where he was from, and the stranger answered Persian. “I said you’re not Persian, showed him his photo, and repeated, you’re not, and then he said: Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan,” says our interlocutor.

According to him, after tying his hands, he called out, “Wow, Dada, Wow, Dada!” Ara Sukiasyan said the Azerbaijani had no weapon, only a screwdriver, several bullets, and a notebook.
