“Today, the Azerbaijani reached our borders earlier; why are we delaying it?” After all, we have excellent engineering and construction potential. I have been to the Tegh-Kornidzor section, where the asphalt is in one layer.
Within the framework of what political arrangements were the road dates set? It was supposed to be completed on April 1. Still, that road is not ready yet,” Seyran Ohanyan, deputy of the Armenia faction, asked Gnel Sanosyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures, during the discussion of the report on the progress of the government’s plan for 2022 at the extraordinary session of the National Assembly.
Gnel Sanosyan answered: “There was a certain agreement that from April 1, the traffic should be moved on the new road. With that schedule, we went as follows. As of April 1, we had to make the road passable, which we managed to do, but not completely. It will be fully ready at the end of May with three-layer asphalt and drainage systems. I think it will be ready at the end of May.”
