On April 24, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the Head of the Republicans Faction of the Senate of the Republic of France Bruno Retailleau.

The RA NA President highly appreciated the consistent efforts made by Bruno Retailleau and the Head of France-Armenia Friendship Group Gilbert-Luc Devinaz in undertaking practical steps after 44-day war. He expressed gratitude to the deputies of the friendly country France for being next to Armenia and the Armenian people on this symbolic day.

The French colleague recorded that 108 years after the Armenian Genocide the Armenian people continue to face the existential problems.

The sides touched upon the visit of the delegation to Syunik and the starting point of the Lachin blocked corridor on April 23. The French side considered the 120.000 Armenian being in blockade bearers of hostage in an open air, deeming the created situation inadmissible.
