Alen Simonyan Receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to RA: Armenian-Indian Relations More Than Ever are at High Level
On April 25, the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to RA Nilakshi Saha Sinha. The RA NA President congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of assuming diplomatic mission in the Republic of Armenia, wishing her achievements in the responsible position.
The sides affirmed that the Amenian-Indian relations are more than ever at high level and concerned about the deepening the cooperation in all spheres.
The RA NA President asked the Ambassador to convey greetings to the distinguished Speaker of the Lok Sabha of India Om Birla, with whom he had a substantive conversation within the Inter-Parliamentary Union a month ago. Alen Simonyan also reminded her about the effective activity of the RA NA Armenia-India Friendship Group, expressing hope that Parliamentary Friendship will be formed in the Indian Parliament.

Thanking the NA President for the reception, the Ambassador of India expressed readiness to permanently maintaining contact with the National Assembly in the framework of her mission and promote the development of parliamentary diplomacy.
