Before landing, everyone was impatient and excited. According to the schedule, the flight from “Zvartnots” airport was scheduled for 10:00, but it was delayed by 10 minutes. The duration is 45 minutes. The audience welcomed the soft landing of the plane with applause.
The Civil Aviation Department informs that the aircraft is designed for 19 passengers. It is registered in the Republic of Armenia. The flight was experimental. Kapan Airport has been renovated according to international standards and was certified by the Civil Aviation Committee in 2020. This flight was truly historical as there have been no flights at Kapan airport since the 90s except for one private flight in 2017.
The aircraft flew six times, testing the technical schemes. Robert Ghukasyan welcomed and thanked the pilots.
Champagne was opened as a sign of a successful launch, and a wish was expressed that only champagne explosions would be heard at Syunik Airport in Kapan.
