People tend to be in the majority in general. That way, it is relatively more comfortable and safe. It is normal and not always reprehensible. If we were non-conformists in all matters, opposed to society, then sociopaths, like murderers or robbers, would roam the streets. And life would become unbearable.
But it is not possible to be in the majority in all issues. Two things are important here: first, don’t be afraid to be in the minority, and second, regardless of which group you belong to, don’t be enmity with the opposite group.
For example, like most Armenians, I follow the Armenian Apostolic Church. But this does not prevent me from respecting all other religions properly if they are not dangerous to people’s mental and physical health.
I am in the minority on many issues. For example, most RA citizens believe that Nikol Pashinyan is the savior of the Armenian people. To me, on the contrary, the five years of his leadership were disastrous for our State. But that does not mean that I consider all the supporters of this government stupid and ignorant. There can also be very intelligent and multifaceted people in delusion. I am ready to listen to them and provide a platform.

I believe that attacking a police regiment and killing a person is highly reprehensible behavior. But the majority of Armenians have a different opinion. At least in 2016, in the summer, they considered it heroic. It does not follow that the supporters of this violence are all cruel and vampire people. Political views or hatred towards the government can blind even good people.
The situations where I am in the minority are far more numerous than the opposite. But I don’t see a tragedy in it or feel any discomfort.
I will end with the words of Sergei Dovlatov, which are related to the national question, but we can extend that idea to any differences between people. “Hating a person for his national origin is racism. Loving based on it is also racism. Be Jewish. Be Russian. Be Georgian. Be who you feel. But beyond that, be something else; for example, a decent, kind, hardworking person.”
